My warmest greetings and congratulations to Batch Mandala, the Graduating Class of 2013,of
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa.
The halls of the academe have led you to this occasion of pride and achievement, which establishes
your course as young professionals and as agents of development. Trust that the wisdom and principles
your alma mater imbued upon you will serve you well, and will steer you towards the path of
righteousness and service; remain faithful to your ideals of justice and integrity, and persevere towards
the fulfillment of your aspirations. Your country and the people behind your successes wait with
anticipation, as you become a driving force in your chosen fields and a source of positive change in
your communities.
We are fortunate to live in this era of renewal and witness the fruition of our vision of a revitalized and
equitably progressive Philippines. Let us build on the optimism and resolve of our fellowmen and
champion reforms in the various roles we assume. Many challenges remain before us, but, united in our
efforts, we will endure and forge a nation where no Filipino is left behind.
