In July 2002, our association organized its

also kept their offices closed [Jodhpur Bandh-

government postponed the implementation of
new tax structure and it was indeed the
success of unity. JCDA is also member of other

After the thorough working on magazines &
newsletters publication techniques, our team
members launched its first IT journal“ JCDA Journal “ on 15th August 2003. Its
first copy was complete IT newsletter in its
kind, full of computer articles, jokes, technical
journals, birth day wishes for members, current
news, IT trends etc. The copy of it is still
available on our website- www.jcdajodhpur.com
In the journey ahead, more & more IT dealers

Along with many more IT association of India,
JCDA also requested Hon. Finance Minister of
India to reduce the import duty on Computer
parts & Laptops, so that the demand of
computers can be multiplied and consequently,
sale of our members can be increased. This
request was taken care of in the union budget
of 2004, and JCDA send letter of thanks to FM,
and the acknowledgement letter from the
Finance Ministry was also received.
In July 2004, the central excise notification
was released, where computer repair &
maintenance services were added under the
service tax umbrella. JCDA took it forward &
approached all the members & circulated
necessary form & helped them to get the
service tax registration number through local
office of Deputy Commissioner.
JCDA organized games, technical seminars,
vendor meetings etc. for its members time to
time. JCDA also appealed its members to use
& promote Legal softwares.
DQ week magazine conducted survey of all the
IT associations
( more than 1000) in INDIA,
and compared their policies, members strength,
transparency of processes, website availability &
other various factors and the final list of Top 50
IT associations is framed. Thanks &
congratulations to all of you; our JCDA is there
in this list of Top 50 associations of INDIA with
42nd rank.
We think differently
JCDA believe in doing business in ethical
manners and we have published admirable
ethical behavioral guidelines for our members
over our website. While the objective of all
business is to make profits, it should contribute to
the interest of the society by ensuring fair
practices.
JCDA is aware of its responsibility towards the
environment as well as human beings. We are
working towards making our association GREEN. JCDA understand the consequences of
smoking, taking drugs & alcohol. JCDA will
always promote healthy & natural eating habits
to improve health & wealth of its members.
JCDA also believe that elections must be the
last resort for deciding over the post of any
responsibility in the association. Members must
come forward voluntarily for helping the
association becoming stronger. It has been
observed everywhere that elections resulted in
bilateral groups and resulted in dead - end
destinations. For social or professional groups
like us, we can not afford the differences
among team members. Unless not very essential,
the selections should be preferred on
unanimously nomination basis.
