Canon colour light production printer wins
coveted EDP award
LONDON, UK, 27 May 2010. Canon UK, world leader in imaging solutions, announced
today that the Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9060 PRO has been awarded the
accolade of ‘Best High End Multi-Functional Printer’ by the European Digital Press
(EDP) Association at a ceremony at Ipex. Comprising publishers of leading European
magazines devoted to digital printing, the EDP Association represents a readership of
over one million graphic arts professionals.
Focusing on innovation and the value of new technical abilities the product offers, the
EDP Technical Committee described Canon’s colour light production device in the
following terms: ‚Very fast with 60 pages per minute, high paper capacity, many
finishing-options and nice integration of Adobe LiveCycle-Management. This new
printer offers good print quality combined with a fast printing speed and those
parameters remain unchanged whether the printer runs in colour or black and white –
therefore enabling the user to print mixed colour and black and white documents
without any changes in productivity.‛
Trevor Dodsworth, Head of Product Marketing, Business to Business, Canon UK says,
‚We’re delighted that the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9060 PRO has won this award. It
has proved to be exceptionally popular since its launch and this is a fantastic accolade.
The innovative technology in this printer offers customers a scaleable solution that can
grow in tandem with their business and help them to make a leap to a new area of
business involving digital print.‛
Designed to offer outstanding value to production environments, the imageRUNNER
ADVANCE C9060 PRO delivers excellent image quality, advanced finishing and powerful
workflow integration.
