This book review will consist of FOUR parts.
1. The INTRODUCTION tells the title, author, and some basic information
about the book. (1 paragraph)
2. The PLOT SUMMARY tells what happens in the book. Try to avoid giving
spoilers if you can. (3 paragraphs)
3. The OPINION section tells what you liked and didn’t like about the book.
Try to give specific reasons for your opinions. Some things you could mention
are characters, dialogue, plot, pacing, style, and favorite parts. (2
paragraphs)
4. The CONCLUSION quickly summarizes the information in your report and
gives your recommendation as to who might like to read this book. Be as
specific as you can with your recommendations; no book is for everyone! (1
paragraph)
Feel free to use these four titles (introduction, plot summary, opinion, and
conclusion) as headings for your report; it will help you to remember to do all
four parts. Make sure you underline book titles in your report. Make sure that
you do ALL FOUR PARTS of the book report. DO YOUR OWN WORK! Give
yourself the credit you deserve and don’t copy, please. Use the rubric to
ensure that you have included all components and that you have put the
proper amount of effort into each section.
