Minimum one month of self-study is recommended since you are registering for Course Reviews only followed
by Examinations, and not to Full Course Training. Without a sufficient preparation time, you will not achieve an
optimum training session and decrease your chances to be successful with the examination.
Course and Examination language is English.
The examinations take place at the end of the day for each module, or at the end of the session for longer
modules.
Upon acknowledgement of your registration, your digital manuals’ shipment can be very quick in the UAE if
you ensure your address details are complete.

3. Examination / Certificates



The administration process to issue and send the certificates is approximately 3 weeks after the
examination day.
You will receive your certificates by courier.
FreeSky will not deliver any information on results or certificates before the end of the
administration process.

8. Resits:
As per EASA Part 66 Appendix II; the maximum number of consecutive attempts at a module
examination is three. Further sets of three attempts are allowed with a one year waiting period
between sets. On application for a resit of a module examination in a given category FreeSky
requests that you provide the names of the Approved Maintenance Training Organisations' or
the Competent Authorities' and the locations and dates in which you attempted that module
within the previous 24 months. Failure to do so may result in your examination being invalidated.
Three free Resit shall be provided in case of failure. A Classroom Review attendance of
minimum 80% is compulsory.

General Conditions for Technical Training
1.
General
These General Conditions for Technical Training (“GCTT”) apply to all technical training
services (“Services“) provided by FreeSky FZE. Candidate’s General Terms and Conditions
are not applicable. Deviations from these General Terms and Conditions need to be
agreed in writing.
2.
Offer and Conclusion of Contract
FreeSky will issue a written offer upon preliminarry negotiations with Candidate. The
offer will contain a service description and an according registration form (Course
Registration Form) as contract documentation. The acceptance of the offer is effected by
returning to FreeSky a duly signed Course Registration Form which contains all relevant
elements.
3.
Termination of the Contract by Candidate
The Candidate may terminate the contract without any cancellation fee by written notice
latest 35 days before course start. The termination notice may be made with respect to
the entire contract or to individual participants. If the Candidate terminates the contract
later than 35 days before course start. FreeSky may at its sole discretion charge
cancellation fees as stated in the table below:

Any costs incurrred by FreeSky in prepration of the agreed service will be charged to
Candidate but will be limited to a maximum of the contract price minus any
applicable cancelation fee.
All Training fees are applicable which are currently in force for all offered and
announced training venues.
If a candidate is unable to attend the examination due to medical reasons or other
reasons which may be considered acceptable to FreeSky, the candidate must contact
FreeSky with a medical certificate or other supporting document(s). This must be
received no later than 5 days after the examination date. FreeSky has the sole
discretion to accept or reject the reason for the absence. If this is accepted the
candidate will be rebooked to another session.

Delay of the Course



Termination of Contract by FreeSky



In case FreeSky has declared a specific training program to be subject to a minimum
number of participants, FreeSky may terminate the contract if such minimum number
is not reached.
In such case, Candidate will be notified two weeks before course start at the latest.
Any training fees paid by Candidate will be refunded. Any other claims shall be
excluded. The same shall apply in case the training cannot be performed due to force
majeure or other reasons for which FreeSky is not responsible. Notification will be
made without undue delay.
Performance



7.
If, due to force majeure or other reasons beyond FreeSky reasonable control, the
course cannot be performed at the agreed date, or only be performed with
unreasonable economic effort, then the course will be performed on the next
possible date agreed. The same applies in case of illness of a trainer.
Candidate may terminate the contract without any cancellation charge if, due to the
delay, the service is no longer of interest for Candidate. In case of such termination,
any fee paid by Cutomer will be refunded. Any other claims shall be excluded.
Candidate is responsible for compliance with any requirements for participation. The
requirements for participation as set forth in the training programs shall apply.
Training will normally take place at FreeSky training premises. In case another
training location is agreed upon.
Daily schedules of training will correspond with the candidates working hours at
FreeSky. FreeSky is responsible for performing the training. FreeSky reserves the right
to let the training be partly or wholly performed by duly qualified third parties in
FreeSky name. Certification will normally be provided by FreeSky, however may be
provided by such third party otherwise.
If a successful completion of the training requires any exam, the exam will be made
according to the applicable FreeSky rules, unless otherwise agreed. FreeSky does not
warrant that the partcipant will reach the intended training level, nor does FreeSky
warrant that a participant will pass the exam.
Standard of Services
The services shall be performed in accordance with
 FreeSky working methods & procedures based upon manufacturer’s manuals,
 Approved standards
 The current version of FreeSky exposition and
 The current rules and regulations of the EASA and GCAA, as applicable.
8.
Prices, Terms of Payment

In case of trainings, services are specified in the training description which is the basis
for the contract. FreeSky offers paid Services for a fee. The applicable prices for the
different trainings are set forth in the registration form. Unless otherwise stated, all
fees are quoted in United Arab Emirates Dirham. Applicable value added tax will be
charged for services performed.

9.
Travel, Accommodation & Insurance



FreeSky shall not be liable for any kind of damage arising directly or indirectly out of
or in connection with the performance or non-performance of the training, unless
such damages have been caused by the gross negligence or intent of FreeSky or its
directors, officers, employees and agents. Candidate shall abide by the relevant
safety and accident prevention rules applicable for trainings within FreeSky and its
affiliates.
Candidate shall be liable for any kind of damage to and / or loss of property
(including any aircraft). Candidate will hold harmless and indemnify FreeSky from and
against any claims brought by third parties in connection with this agreement, unless
such claims are due to FreeSky gross negligence or intent.

FreeSky will not bear any of the candidate’s travel expenses. In case the training (at
the request of candidate) does not take place at FreeSky training premises, the
candidate shall bear the travel costs for the instructor (in terms of travel time, daily
expense, book ticket in economy class & in business class for travel, accomodation in
three to four star hotel or simialar standard, rental car for local transportation in any
other reasonable costs associated with the course).
Candidate is responsible for their health and accident insurance. Any additional
insurances provided by FreeSky require a separate agreement and will be billed
separately.
Liability

11.
A deposit payment of 2,000 AED has to be made by the candidate along with its
Course Registration. The agreed total price shall be due and payable without
deduction upon receipt of an invoice and within such delay as specified in invoice.
Invoicing will be made before the start of the training. Payment shall be made in the
invoiced currency.
The candidate shall make all payments in full without any deduction, defence, set-off,
counter claim, recoupment or other wright of any kind or for any other circumstance.
If the candidate fails to make payment on the due date, the candidate shall pay late
submition charges on the over due amount in full. Payment of late submission shall
not release the Candidate from paying the sums due under the terms of the contract.
If candidate’s payment method fails or candidate’s account is past due, we may
collect fees using other collection mechanisms. The given fee structure is for one
session only. Fees may vary based on your location and other factors, and FreeSky
reserves the right to change any fees at any time at its sole discretion. Any change,
update, or modification will be effective immediately upon posting through the
relevant Services. Refunds may be available for as described in our refund Policy.
Candidates may not copy licensed material or make it accessible to third parties
without FreeSky prior written consent. “Licensed Material” is any kind of FreeSky
training documentation.
Force Majeure

Save that all payments must be made on time, in other cases no delay or failure to
perform either party shall give rise to any claim for any losses including anticipated
profits if caused by Force Majeure.

Unenforceability


If any term in the contract or these GCTT is ineffective, this shall not affect the validity
of the remaining terms. The parties agree to replace ineffective terms with new ones,
which are consistent as far as possible with the economic objectives of the contract.
Confidentiality


15.
“Force Majeure” means an occurrence beyond the control and without fault or
negligence of the party affected and which the party cannot prevent or provide
against by exercising reasonable diligence. It includes act of God or public enemy,
expropriation or confiscation of facilities, any form of Government intervention,
hostelites, rebellion, terrorist activity, local, national or regional emergency, sabotage,
riots, floods, unusually severe weather conditions which could not reasonably be
anticipated, fires explosions or other catastrophes, strikes or any other concentrated
act of workmen or other similar occurences.
If any delay or failure in performance caused by Force Majeure continues for seven
(7)days or more, either party may terminate the contract by giving seven (7) days
notice in writing.
Information contained in FreeSky offers and / or contracts is intented for the
exclusive use to the Candidate. Any distribution, copying, publicising or other
disclosure to third parties without prior written consent of FreeSky is prohibited.
FreeSky will treat any information about training candidates and / or any internal
business information as confidential.
Transferring Rights
Neither party may transfer any of its rights of obligations under these GCTT to any third
party unless
(a) stated otherwise in these GCTT or
(b) the other party agrees beforehead in writing.
16.
Applicable Law, Place of Jurisdiction
Any contract including these GCTT shall be construed in accordance with and governed
by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
