HIGHLIGHT OF ACTIVITIES
FOR THE MONTH MARCH
SY-2013-2014 Team Planning and Workshop Seminar March 1 The working officers and members of Team Negosyante conducted their annual team planning and workshop seminar (an overnight team planning seminar)at Royal Palm Resort in Barangay Puypuy, Bay, Laguna last February 28 to March 1. There were 30 students who joined, attended and participated the seminar. The seminar’s objectives of keeping the team aligned to their purpose and goals; developing a good working relationship among the officers; and to introduce new team processes so that the team works effectively together, different activities were conducted during the seminar. Ms. Elaiza Frio presented to the group the accomplishment reports of the organization for this school year 2013-­‐2014. The group was able to comment, conclude and made suggestions and recommendations for the next school year’s activities. This presentation was followed by a lecture handled by Mrs. Lorna C. Condes, the Team’s adviser and the department head. She discussed about How Effective Leaders Plan; To Get Organized and Creating Energy Through Team Works. After Mrs. Condes’ talk, a short break was given to the participants to refresh and get ready for the next activity. The team was able to invite Miss Lovely Asurto, the former president of the Team Negosyante-­‐
SY2012-­‐2013, as one of the speakers in the seminar. She shared her experience as the team’s president and talked about “My Organization and My Commitment” during workshop #2. March 01, the second day of the planning seminar, the team started the day with a morning physical exercise. It was followed shortly by their morning routines and breakfast. Mrs. Ma. Victoria Laplana, a faculty member of Business, talked about goal setting. She discussed how to set goals. This was followed by group work formulating their goals and activities for the organization for the next school year. The group was asked to present and discuss the goals and activities they came out and want to recommend for the team. The team left the resort at 6 o’clock in the evening for Olivarez and travelled safe, happy and with hopeful, motivated and committed hearts for the organization. They talked and introduced the Business programs to graduating students of the school. They gave flyers and souvenir items to the students. St. Michael (Star mall) March 27: Thursday (8-­‐11 am) Seven volunteer students of College of Business and Administration were sent to represent the College to attend the graduation ceremonies of St Michael at Star Mall, Las Pinas City last March 27, 2014 at 8:00 in the morning. They gave and distribute flyers and souvenir items to graduating students and likewise, campaign the business programs offered by the college. In addition, they were tasked to deliver the medals and scholarship certificates to graduating honor students of the batch. The volunteer students were accompanied by Ms. Bernadette Uy, Head of Marketing Department. They gave and distribute flyers and souvenir items to graduating students and likewise, campaign the business programs offered by the college. In addition, they were tasked to deliver the medals and scholarship certificates to graduating honor students of the batch. The volunteer students were accompanied by Ms. Bernadette Uy, Head of Marketing Department. Eight volunteer students of College of Business Administration during the program campaign and marketing activity at the Paranaque Science High School last March 28, 2014.
