WEEKEND EXECUTIVE
SCHEDULE

TWO-YEAR DESIGN:
Students complete the traditional MSW curriculum
through a full-time study for two academic years
and engage in concurrent field experience.
THREE OR FOUR YEAR DESIGN:
Students have the option of completing the
advanced and foundation years part-time.
ADVANCED STANDING: 1 CALENDAR YEAR
Students with a Bachelor of Social Work from a
Council on Social Work-accredited program are
eligible to apply for advanced standing and
potentially complete the program in one year. In the
summer before they begin their advanced year,
advanced standing students engage in a full-time
practicum and seminar experience.

Executive Weekend Schedule
The Master of Social Work Program at
Kutztown University offers a schedule that
allows students to pursue a traditional MSW as
well as an advanced standing MSW in a hybrid
model of traditional classroom courses and
online delivery.
Classroom courses will take place on Friday
mornings and on Saturdays throughout the
semester. Hybrid courses will utilize a web
based program for ongoing communication
and course work submission.
