Automatic one-pass duplex scanner
With automatic one-pass duplex scanning at their full rated
speeds, the LD 060/075 can produce up to 60 or 75 images per
minute. This powerful feature helps you significantly reduce paper
usage without sacrificing total productivity. It also saves time by
scanning large two-sided documents faster, and reduces the
risk of misfeeds from distressed originals.
Interposer adds color pages in-line
Use the interposer to add eye-catching, full-color output
as covers or insert sheets in black-and-white documents.
Compatible with all three optional 3,000-sheet finishers,
the interposer has a feeder unit that inserts pre-printed,
full-color output into your documents from outside the
fuser area to prevent smearing. The LD 060/075 finishes
the combined pages as a single document, eliminating
the need to collate mixed documents by hand.
Unique open systems architecture
The LD 060/075 both feature Next Generation Architecture,
an open systems platform that offers exceptional flexibility for
document management and distribution. Unlike systems that
use proprietary platforms, the LD 060/075 easily integrates with
software from Lanier or off-the-shelf packages from third-party
providers. This not only gives you a wider range of utilities to
choose from, it allows you to add functionality to the LD 060/075
as your needs dictate. Plus, a built-in Web browser allows you to
take full advantage of the Internet without a separate PC or
other peripherals. Utilities available from Lanier include:
• Document Server. This utility enables you to store documents
on an internal hard drive for print-on-demand applications.
You can also combine text and graphics files with scanned images
(in any order) in a single integrated file for instant printing,
collating or finishing.

• Global Scan. This network scanning utility turns the LD 060/075
into a digital document routing system. Scanned documents can
be sent as email attachments. Plug-in options allow integration
with document and knowledge management systems. Global Scan
also integrates seamlessly with your email server to access your
corporate email address list (LDAP). All files are encrypted prior
to transmission for added security.
• Printer Cost and Security Manager (PCSM). PCSM can report how
much your department spends on printing. It records output from
printers on the network, tracking color and monochrome usage,
simplex and duplex output, finishing and page counts.
• Scan to Email. Scan a hardcopy original, then send it to any email
address directly from the LD 060/075. This feature simplifies the
process of distributing hardcopy files to multiple locations, and can
dramatically reduce costs for long-distance faxing and overnight
courier services.
Network connectivity options
The LD 060/075 features optional network connectivity,
so users can access all of its functions directly from
desktop PCs. The system also offers a wireless LAN
option to connect with laptops. And with the
SmartNetMonitor utility, you can monitor jobs and
manage print queues from the desktop as well.
Wide array of powerful software
• Document Mall. Users scan pages, then the LD 060/075 transmits
the files to a secure Internet site, where authorized users can
access them from any Web-connected device. This helps reduce
turnaround time for document review, especially for projects that
involve multiple documents routing to content owners who are
located around the world or traveling.
