G7 Science - Rate of Dissolving Lab Report
Purpose: How long will it take for granulated sugar to completely dissolve
in water at three different temperatures?
Materials: beakers, stir sticks, 1ml measuring spoons, hot tap water,
refrigerated water, room temperature water, granulated sugar
Method:
1) Pour 100ml of room temperature water into a beaker.
2) Take temperature of water
3) Pour 1ml of sugar into beaker and stir
4) Time how long it takes to completely dissolve
5) Average the times and record
6) Repeat for hot tap water and cold water
