Dual Credit Students – NHMCCD On-line Admission Application Steps The last page contains a link to the on-line application 1. From the College district home page www.nhmccd.edu Click Admissions & Registration www.nhmccd.edu 2. Under the New Students Heading, click Apply for Admission 3. The opening page for the online application appears. Click Apply for Admissions 4. This page begins the application process. As a High School student applying for dual credit admission you will select click here for New applicants that do not have a MyRecords user name and password 5. This page asks for information that will be used to begin your college record. Complete all of the questions whether a required field or not x Name x Date of Birth x Zip Code x Social Security Number – Very Important x Email Address Click Create Account 6. On the upper right side of the page, click Get ID & Password 7. Complete the required information; LastName, SSN and Birth Date (MMDDYY, example 120489 for December 4, 1989) Click Submit 8. The following page will display your Login ID and password (reset to your birth date) Take note of the birth date format MMDDYY (example 120489 for December 4, 1989) Click OK 9. On the upper right side of the page, click Log In. 10. Enter the username and password. Remember the password birth date format MMDDYY (example 120489 for December 4, 1989) Click Submit 11. On the next page you will be prompted to change your password. Complete the required information; UserID, Old Password (your birth date in the MMDDYY format), New Password and Confirm Password (retype the new password exactly) Take note a new password must be 6 to 9 characters long and contain both letters and numbers. Click Submit 12. You are now logged into My Records. Click Students in the menu listing (your page will not display the additional menu items listed here) 13. Click Update My Account Information 14. Enter your ID in the MyRecords username text box and your new password. Click Login 15. You are returned to the online admission application. Select college credit courses. Click Continue 16. Select I have not completed high school or earned a GED. Click Continue 17. Select No as the answer to previously earned college credit. Click Continue 18. Be sure you know or have access to the information listed to complete the online application. Click Continue to the application form 19. Select the admission term for which you are applying. If it is different from the one shown, select the correct semester from the drop down list. Click Fill Out Application 20. Be sure to take note of the information on this page. Click Start Once you begin the application process, be sure to read each page carefully so you understand the information requested. Remember you can always select finish later and return to the application at a later time 21. The Application Completion Check list shows all 9 steps that are required for the application. The checklist it will show a red check for each of the completed sections. If you need to make any changes to any information, you may click on that section. You will return to that area and you make your change(s) then click continue. For this demonstration, we have completed the application information so we would click Review and Submit Application. 22. As a dual credit student you do not complete any of the steps shown on this page. We are glad to have you as a student in the NHMCCD district.
