It is one course where if you are clear over the power section then you move directly onto the speed portion of the course. Hunter Classics: Hunter Hack: Open to all horses and ponies. Judged over two fences and on the flat. Fences 2’. Handy Hunter: Open to all horses and ponies. Entries will be judged over a hunter style course consisting of up to 10 jumping elements. Riders may choose to jump 2’3, 2’6, or 2’9. Hunt Pairs Under Saddle- A horse and or pony combination riding side by side to be judged at a walk, trot and canter. Will be judged on manners, suitability and way of going. Hunt Pairs: A pair will consist of two horse/pony and rider combinations. Shown over a hunter type course, one following the other at a safe hunting distance. Judged on performance, manners, and way of going. Pairs will receive bonus points for costumes. Pairs can choose to jump 2’3, 2’6, or 2’9. Children’s Hunter Pony Classic: Open to those who competed in the Children’s Hunter Pony division. 2’6 Hunter Classic: Open to all horses and ponies who competed in a 2’6 hunter division. 3’ Hunter Classic: Open to all horses and ponies who competed in a 3’ hunter division. ****Entry Fee for all Classics $10.00**** **Classics are to be judged on performance and soundness with manners emphasized. To be scored under the open numerical judging system. A designated class of the division will count as the first round of the classic, with the top twelve scores returning to jump a second course. The second round competitors will return in order of lowest score to highest. In case of ties, order of those tied will be drawn. Scores will be averaged from both rounds to determine the winners. In case of ties, the second round will serve as tie breaker.
