To provide practical information and approaches to the
diagnosis and management of common problems that
impact on the mother and fetus, using a case-based
approach.
To evaluate the effects of medical disorders on the
course of pregnancy and to examine the impact of
pregnancy on the course of medical disorders.
To provide an interactive learning experience whereby
health care providers can present and discuss
controversial care issues related to medical disorders in
pregnancy.
Evaluate the importance of the multidisciplinary patient
care conferences in the management of medically
complex pregnant patients.
