Safety concepts made in Florida The Aviation University, Embry- Riddle Aeronautical University of Florida teams up with Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt am Main, 18.11.2014. Master students of the MBA Aviation Management programme of Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (FRA-UAS) will cover one module of their programme in Orlando, Florida at the US - American, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide (ERAU). The cooperation with the aviation specialized university will start in 2015. The working professionals in the aviation industry will enhance their knowledge in Safety Management Systems (Safety Concepts) in the first semester of the post graduate programme offered by Embry-Riddle Worldwide’s Office of Professional Education. “The cooperation and the partnership with the most prestigious aviation-oriented university in the world is more than an attractive addition to the curriculum of our MBA programme. In Orlando, Embry-Riddle’s experienced faculty will deliver a seminar on topics related to airport safety. Students will learn how to identify a variety of potential threats and ways to design and implement safety concepts. The programme concludes with a presentation of the assignment and with a written exam. The logistics module in the UK is another part of the MBA programme. The cooperation with University of Huddersfield exists since 2014.
