Classes are designed around work environments and emulate real-world applications. Lab instruction emphasizes computers and technology. KCTC enrolls more than 2,500 students from nearly 60 public and private high schools each year. The Center provides students with quality training in over 20 career and technical programs including core technical training, academic integration and alignment with post-secondary education. Please note: some programs have specific age requirements • Transportation is arranged by the home school. • One session at KCTC equals three one-hour classes at the sending school. Three sessions of 2 hours and 15 minutes are offered Monday through Friday. • Seniors completing the first year of a two-year program may return for a second school year if openings are available in that same program. However, high school students get priority placement. Changing programs is not possible for high school graduates.
