*Note: For cultural or language analysis, if a student can prove Novice 4 proficiency in a second language either by 2 years of a
second language in high school or successful testing, then the student may select three hours from the cultural analysis section.
The student in this case can also choose to take a foreign language to meet the requirement. Students must show proof of meeting
the foreign language requirement with an official high school transcript. For students who did not have 2 years of the same foreign
language in high school, the student must take a foreign language and does not have the option to take a cultural analysis.
**Please also note that a student needs to have a minimum of 124 hours to graduate, 40 hours of upper division courses (3000 and
4000 level courses), 60 hours from a Senior College (4-year institution), 30 hours from UCO, and 15 hours of upper division courses
in their major to graduate. Free Elective hours will be added in the case that a student does not meet all of these requirements in
order to graduate from UCO.
