Tele Lumiere Honors Wadih Safi in Lebanon the Festival
From Jounieh embracing Tele Lumiere since its foundation, backed by
the mountain crowned by Our Lady of Lebanon, it shines through
Lebanon the Festival for the 7th year, in this event that became a tradition celebrating Lebanon, the joy, beauty, the country of values and
highborn heritage, in an evening prepared and presented by Roula Elia.
Stars gathered around the Lebanese prominent Artist Wadih Safi
with the participation of Artist Aida Chalhoub, Antoine Safi, Naji
Haddad and Nadine el-Barouki who present wonderful immortal
songs and extracts of Rahbani’s special plays, in the attendance of the
Artist Wadih Safi’s fans, family members and Tele Lumiere General
Secretary Antoine Saad who delivered the TV’s word affirming Tele Lumiere’s strong relation with Lebanon the
Festival: “Lebanon is a permanent festival for joy, art,
beauty, human values representing the Heaven’s values…
There, Tele Lumiere finds its place completely, for this TV
station can only exist in Lebanon, the country of joy; isn’t it
responsible for spreading the Good News? Tele Lumiere
has a strong relation with art because God is the 1st most
perfect and comprehensive Artist. Artists on earth are God’s
apostles reflecting His
art in their different ways in order to help humanity rising to Heaven.”
Then, he thanked God for the voices bearing His mission with loyalty and transparency such as Wadih
Safi, Feyrouz and Sabah, focusing on Wadih Safi who “became a symbol of Lebanon… making it
immortal.” Honoring him, Tele Lumiere rewards as well the highborn country of heritage Lebanon.
At the end, the President of Beirut Traders’ Association Antoine Maroun offered an honoring
shield to the artist Wadih Safi and another to Tele Lumiere represented by Dr. Antoine Saad
who delivered as well a wooden sculpture of the Cedars to Wadih Safi representing his family’s tree.
From Atheism to Faith
and Evangelization
He left everything when he found Christ, after 25
years of atheism. He found the right way through the
Holy Spirit, got to knew Him through the Holy
Bible and is traveling now from a country to another
to preach His message. Once again, Aneel Aranha
visited Lebanon and particularly Tele
Lumiere to meet the holders of God’s
Word all over the world and share with them
his spiritual experience with Jesus. He’s trying to be like Him through prayer, isolation,
contemplation, spreading His Word. As well,
Aranha called Tele Lumiere’s family to
follow the Teacher’s footsteps without any
fear or hesitation because all of us are called
to holiness.
A New Cross
on the Altar
of St MaronMinneapolis
Church
On the Exaltation
of
the
Cross Feast, St
Maron Parish,
Minneapolis- USA unveiled the oak wooden
sculpture of the cross by the Artist Paul Sirba, It is
a circle of 5 feet or 152 cm in diameter indicating
God’s infinite and unconditional love to humanity.
The cross in the middle represents salvation, extends over the four sides of earth and is decorated
with the vine hanging entirely on it.

The Light of the
East: Encyclical of
Pope John-Paul II
(May 1995)
The Pope wrote this
letter in the 1st centenary
of the Holy Pontiff
Pope Leo XIII’s encyclical “The Easterns’ Dignity”
defending the whole Church traditions. In his encyclical,
the Pope addressed a similar call to the Catholic Church
so that her children get to know the Christian East relying on experiences and gatherings that were held in the
last century.
Patriarch
Antonios Khrech
(1975- 1985)
He went through the
misery of the Lebanese War, tried to
relieve the pain of his people and rescue Lebanon
on all levels. He was known as the friend of the poor
and refugees, the man of construction and the social
work. He was the patriarch of dialogue, ecclesiastical
reform and national unity. During his term, the canonization of St Sharbel was declared in 1977 and
the beatification of Rafka in 1985. He became a cardinal in February 2nd 1983,
resigned two years later, because of his age.
A Hut in Heaven

Impressing by this spirit,
the Lebanese Ambassador to Brazil Fouad
Anis el-Khoury, wrote
his book with sincere
feelings and deep faith of
a missionary diplomat,
highlighting his roots and
the impact of St Francis
and Mother Teresa on
his life, his tour of the
world and his homeland searching for the truth and
himself in the arms of Jesus and Mary who had a
special place in his heart.
