The Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Winter Sports Centre at UBC will be the competition venue. The Centre’s Thunderbird Arena was constructed for the 2010 Olympic games and opened in July 2008. The facility is one of Vancouver’s newest and most sophisticated multi use spectator venues.
