The Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland opened the Job Match ReEmployment Office in September 2009 and has been extended to July 2013. The mission of the program is to assist mid- to upper-level wage earners affected by a lay-off in “finding the right fit” for their next career move. To join the Job Match Project, you will need to follow a few simple steps: Now that you know about the Job Match Project, tell us a little about you: 1. C. You earned $38,000 or more from your last employer. (Suggested documents: pay stub, contract, W2, etc.) Each time a Job Match participant reenters the workforce, he or she becomes a success story. The end goal is that each success story is a “good fit”. After thirty-three months of the Project, over 200 people had found good fits. This means that more than 200 families in the TriCounty area have ended unemployment benefits and resumed a lifelong role as tax-paying citizens. 3.
