Learfield Sports, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking Account Executives (AEs)
with collegiate sports marketing and/or sales experience. Media sales experience is preferred.
These Account Executives are located in markets in and around Learfield Sports’ partner
schools. AEs represent Learfield Sports and the school in these local markets. AEs actively seek
out sponsorship and advertising partnerships associated with the school’s collegiate athletic
programs. These roles are “client focused,” and therefore, general business understanding,
interest and curiosity are valuable attributes.
AEs for Learfield Sports will create sponsorship solutions to satisfy clients’ marketing needs.
Those sponsorships may include Radio, Television, Signage, Hospitality, Print, Game Day
Marketing and/or Internet advertising. Learfield Sports is seeking outgoing individuals with the

Sales & Marketing: Corporate Sponsorship Sales
Manager of Corporate Partnerships - Homestead Miami Speedway (Homestead, FL)
Homestead-Miami Speedway is a world-class motorsports facility located just south of Miami in tropical
South Florida. The Speedway is the home of Ford Championship Weekend, the season-finales for the
NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series, as well as the Grand Prix of Miami
Grand-Am sports car event weekend. In addition to these major spectator events, the Speedway is active
more than 260 days per year with multiple forms of racing, testing, track rentals, driving schools, and
community events.
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and go to market with the sales of HMS/ISC inventory including sponsorships,
displays, and hospitality packages including chalets, suites, fan hospitality, and other revenue
generating opportunities.
Coordinate the delivery of all on-site sponsor and corporate customer requirements, meeting or
exceeding expectations.
Assist in the planning and development of, in accordance with budget guidelines, a local and
regional sales and marketing plan for event related activities at HMS. Such activities shall include,
but not limited to, event sponsorships, promotional partnerships, displays, and group sales
packages including chalets, suites, fan hospitality, tour buses, and other revenue generating
opportunities as well as promotions, public relations, and advertising.
Develop, market, and sell premium corporate entertainment and sponsorship packages, event
admissions, and on-site display areas to national, regional and local companies. Build and
cultivate an ongoing “pipeline” of corporate contacts and potential sponsors. Maintain and update
an accurate corporate customer database with all pertinent information.
Coordinate, implement, and manage, with the Director, the renewal process for corporate
customers. Process includes, but is not limited to, development of correspondence, information
included in packet, and tracking process with follow-up plan.
Coordinate and manage, all elements of pre-event corporate entertainment planning including
securing all necessary support staffing on event weekends, securing source of tents, tables,
chairs, decorations etc., menu distribution, selection and upgrading of decorations/ambiance in
hospitality areas, in accordance with budget guidelines, etc. Communicate all appropriate
requirements to support hospitality activities to various vendors, HMS staff, and Americrown.
Work with Manager, Corporate Partnerships, the assembly and distribution of corporate
information packages, Fan Guides, handbooks, passes, tickets, and all other necessary
information and materials to corporate customers in an accurate and timely manner.
Oversee and manage facets of corporate entertainment on race weekends. Coordinate and
manage staff including interns, and volunteers, including Americrown and other vendors required
to ensure that mutually agreed to, or contractually specified, obligations to the customer are
performed at a level that meets or exceeds customer expectations. During race events, be
available for the customers for questions, additional requests, etc
Deliver superior customer service to ensure client satisfaction in all facets of a business
relationship process from initial prospecting to fulfillment and follow up. Practice accurate and
timely distribution with other departments (i.e. Operations, Americrown, ticket office, and
Accounting) to ensure the fulfillment of all HMS obligations. With the Accounting Department,
maintain accurate records with regards to invoicing and payment by customers.
Work to lower expenses, improve efficiencies and grow margins within the Marketing & Sales
budget without sacrificing sales and customer service.
In accordance with budget guidelines, and in conjunction with other HMS departments, develop
enhancements that will significantly increase the overall guest experience.
With the objective of delivering exclusive attention to, and creating a first class experience for our
sponsors and partners, provide excellent customer service to our corporate customers in a
manner consistent with meeting/exceeding expectations. Have an understanding and complete
knowledge of all corporate customer activities prior to and during race events. Serve as a
customer representative, as needed, to affect timely completion of all track obligations and to
coordinate the delivery and distribution of all benefits during events.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be creative, a self-starter, highly motivated, organized and a team player
with attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task. Candidate is expected to bring a positive
attitude to the workplace, to be cheerful, engaging, cooperative and productive, and to perform additional
duties as required for the efficient operations of the Speedway.
Four-year degree in business or communications from an accredited college/university.
Preferably 2-3 years experience in business development of an organization, preferably within
sports or entertainment.
Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, database programs within a windows
environment.
Strong internal/external customer relations and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic financial skills on a task, project, and processes basis.
Consultative sales style, prospecting skills, and a desire to identify new business opportunities.

Special Events Coordinator – Athletics
The Special Events Coordinator is the primary administrator responsible for planning and executing all
fundraiser events on behalf of the Sam Houston State department of athletics. The position reports
directly to the Associate Athletic Director External Operations and works in cooperation with University
Advancement and the office of the President.
Responsibilities include locating and securing the proper facility to stage the event, catering, event
décor, program details, audio & visual equipment, lighting, linens, podiums and any other special set
ups. The Special Events Coordinator also is responsible for budgeting and maintaining financial records
for the special events, building database list of attendees, coordinating registration efforts and reporting
all attendance and financial results through the Donor Management system. The role requires this
person to assemble all needed staff and volunteer groups to execute the event. The coordinator will be
the point person, working with marketing and communication staffs, to see to it events are promoted

Summary: Position is responsible for presenting and selling a full range of ticket packages for all Orange Bowl
Festival events (i.e. 2014 Discover Orange Bowl, MetroPCS Basketball Classic and all ancillary Festival events).
Responsibilities also include providing customer support and developing excellent relationships with the existing fan
base.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Entry level position responsible for the sale of available ticket inventory for all Orange Bowl events, primarily via
outbound telephone sales campaigns.
• Work to achieve set sales goals as set forth by the department.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Participate and contribute to weekly sales meetings and training sessions

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required (previous experience with a sports franchise or in sports
industry a plus).
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Maintain a professional image and positive attitude at all times
• Ability to handle heavy outbound phone volume.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Archtics ticketing system experience preferred but not required.
