Lab Crafters Announces New Management Structure
Ronkonkoma, NY, January 2, 2014 – Lab Crafters, a market leader in the design and
manufacture of fume hoods, furniture systems, casegoods, and other integrated laboratory
solutions, has announced a new management structure within the organization.
Bob DeLuca, Jr. has been promoted to the position of President of Lab Crafters, expanding his
current duties to include assuming responsibility for all day-to-day operations. He will continue
to report to the Lab Crafters ownership group consisting of Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer Robert DeLuca, Sr., Chief Technology Officer William Mabanta, Sr. and Chief Sales
Officer Ed Fiance.
“Bob’s leadership has been instrumental in the tremendous growth experienced by Lab Crafters
over the past several years.” said Lab Crafters Chairman and CEO Robert DeLuca. “Bob brings
18 years of experience and proven success to the position. I couldn’t be more pleased to have
his committed leadership in place to oversee our continued growth and innovation.”
Additionally, Will Mabanta Jr. and Andrea Savino have been promoted to Vice President
positions. Will has been appointed Vice President of Engineering, where he will oversee all
sheet metal and mechanical, electrical & plumbing (MEP) design work. Andrea has been
promoted to Vice President of Finance where she will manage all aspects of the company
accounting.
“Will is a talented engineer and he literally knows our product portfolio inside and out. With our
recent hires in the engineering department, Will’s skills as a mentor and a manager will be put to
use as he oversees the expansion and increased throughput of that department.” said CEO
Robert DeLuca. He added, “Andrea has worked tirelessly to manage the company’s finances
and today we are as fiscally healthy as we have ever been in our 35 year history.”
