The aim of the Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market of Wooster is to offer a welcoming and
friendly atmosphere to all who visit, buy, or sell at our market. Wooster Market is to be
a well maintained market operated for the sale of locally grown high quality, healthy
farm products and high quality homemade crafts at a reasonable price. Low quality,
inferior or imported goods and products are not acceptable for sale at this market.
The market will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday only of each week
starting April 12 and continuing until October 25, 2014 at the Wooster City Park. Market
Board, Vendor and interested parties planning meetings are scheduled to be held on
February 8, March 8, 2014 and July 12, 2014.
Anyone who wishes to sell produce or crafts at the 2014 Market must comply with all
Arkansas Regulations (aka the cottage law) and be a registered vendor.
2014 Vendor applications may be picked up at 104 Patton Road and will be available
from the market manager on Market Saturdays. Completed applications must be
turned in for vendor registration prior to booth set up on market Saturdays. Please
submit a descriptive profile including color photos of your operation with registration
application for inclusion in the Wooster Market newsletter and other promotional
materials.
Vendor spaces are provided for a $50.00 annual membership fee. All vendors are
strongly urged to pre- register and to be at the park by 7:30 am to set up. Sales start at
8:00 am promptly. No early sales are allowed. You must notify a board member if you
will be arriving after 8:30am; as your reserved space maybe given to another vendor.
Spaces will be assigned at registration and clearly marked. Vendors may sell from the
back of a vehicle or from under a canopy, shade or large tent like covering. Vendor is
responsible for all set up and removal of shade coverings, tables and chairs. All trash
must be cleaned up before leaving park.
No live animals or birds are allowed to be present or to be sold on Wooster City Park
grounds.
No alcohol or firearms of any type are allowed in or on Wooster City Park premises.
A vendor may have up to 3 helpers at their booth that must be identified to the Market
Manager of the day. The Vendor or a helper must be present at the booth for at least
75% of the sales time.
Restrooms are available for public use at the park. Please be responsible to keep them
clean.
Each vendor is responsible for the quality and content of their products and booth
spaces. Vendors will display prices of goods being sold on a visible and legible sign no
smaller than a 3x5 note card.
Educational booths are welcomed and participation by 4-H, FFA, EAST lab students
and collaborations with other community groups is encouraged.
Roadrunner’s E.H.C. will supervise the use of the kitchen facility at the park. Local
groups may request to serve and sell refreshments at the Saturday market as a fund
raiser. Please contact a board member for more information and to register.

Market at Wooster. The city of Wooster, the Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market and

products or damages or injuries to any person, property or company.
