Children’s
membership
We have decided to consolidate
our children’s membership
schemes into two bandings
to simplify and confirm the
arrangements in the cover
provided for the welfare of
our younger patient’s teeth.
Our membership programmes
start at three years of age,
under this age we are happy to
register and see your children
free of charge.
These membership prices will
be guaranteed for three years
from January 2012.
* The price includes a small premium per month for the
Worldwide Dental Trauma and Emergency Callout Insurance.

** Subject to receipt of six consecutive monthly payments
*** Discounts only apply to the treatments carried out at
the practice. Excludes discount on Invisalign® treatment

membership schemes will remain at the same
monthly fees, guaranteed until December

Adults 18 -21 years in full time education
In addition, if you are an adult between the ages of 18 to 21 in full time
education then we will freeze the £6.00 per month membership fee until you
have reached the age of 21. On each visit we will need to see your NUS card as
proof of your full time education status. If you are a student or have an adult in
your family that meet this criteria, then please get in touch with the patient care
team who will be happy to help you. The membership benefits will be the same
as the 11-18 years children’s membership.

Staff news and updates
It has been a busy year with the JM
Dental Care baby boom of 2011! There
have been five births to celebrate this
year. The birth of Sharmain’s son
Mason, Kuly’s son Arun, Gemma’s
daughter Poppy, Rachel’s daughter Seren
and Amanda’s daughter, Nicole.
The baby boom has led to some new
faces in the JM Dental Care team. We
welcome Rebekah Oates as a full time
dental nurse, Roxanne Hughes as a
part time qualified dental nurse and
Nichola Jordan, part time qualified dental
hygienist, who has replaced Kuly after
she decided to take a couple of years
off after the birth of her son. Finally we
welcome Beverly Kelly who will be our
Oral Health Educator and Co-ordinator
who will work primarily with our younger
patients. Bev will be here on Thursday
evenings 4.00 pm until 8.00 pm.
With the demand of keeping up with
additional increased clinical areas and CQC
updates, there have been a couple of new
roles created. Rachel Hughes has become
the Training Manager. Rachel provides the
team with detailed training on everything
from child protection to detailed clinical
updates. Gemma Matthews and Emma
Summlar are heading our new implant
team to provide support for patients on
an implant journey and providing clinical
support to our implantologists, Joe
Henderson and Nigel Moss.

The complete package – straighter,
whiter smiles with Invisalign
®
Would you like straighter and whiter teeth, naturally? Then Invisalign® with whitening from JM
Dental Care is for you. Invisalign® can help to treat a variety of orthodontic concerns in adults,
relapsed orthodontic cases and children. The treatment uses aligners, which are clear trays that fit
perfectly over your teeth. Aligners are changed every two weeks until your treatment is complete.
How it works…
How do I know if I am suitable for Invisalign® treatment?
The first stage is a complimentary consultation with our Invisalign® Co-ordinator who will explain
the treatment, how it works, how long treatment will take, do’s and don’ts whilst in treatment,
retaining the result with retention options and the costs incurred.
After I have had a co-ordinator assessment what is the next stage?
The next stage is an appointment with James Graham to check clinical suitability. This appointment
is at no charge.
If I am suitable for Invisalign® treatment and want to take the next
step, what happens now?
The third stage is to have a record taking appointment, in this appointment we take upper and
lower impressions and an impression of how you bite together. In addition we take a number of
photographs and discuss your exact clinical smile options. There is a charge to undertake this
appointment.
After the record taking what happens next?
We send your impressions and photos to Invisalign® in America where they create the perfect smile
for you as a digital image. This digital image is called a CLIN check. Once we have received this we
invite you in to view the CLIN check with James Graham. We can email you the image, so you are
able to show family and friends.
If I am happy with the CLIN check what happens now?
If you are happy with the CLIN check then we can commence your treatment. Your CLIN check is
converted into your aligner programme. We then invite you back into the practice for James Graham
to fit the first aligner and your journey to straight teeth begins.
After your treatment has been completed, we provide as part of Invisalign®, the complete package;
your first retention programme and complimentary home whitening to give those teeth a whiter
brighter look to complete your journey.
