WORKSTREAM LEAD ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (DRAFT)
Core Responsibilities
To provide leadership for the team delivering the workstream, maintaining a clear sense
of purpose.
• To develop a work plan for the workstream.
• To gain access to the necessary resources to ensure successful workstream delivery.
• To flag any risks or issues to the Project Manager.
• To work with adoption managers in existing teams across West Mercia to support
operational transition to the new service.
• To maintain good relations with all service users and key stakeholders (see definitions
below) involved in the project
• To maintain confidentiality when discussing and sharing information/data in relation to
the project.
• To positively contribute to all meetings and send suitable deputies in their place to
ensure that each authority is able to participate fully.
Work plans from all workstreams are in accordance with the service user pathway and are
joined up, clear and deliverable

service user pathways, processes and
timescales in relation to service user
pathways for all four LAs.

activity required by the other
workstreams to be produced and
shared with the working group and
steering group
