To deliver an end to end process including creation of test plans, communication and roll out to users. To develop reporting outputs and to work with the Project Lead in the administration of systems and data. Day to day leadership and management of the workstream to meet delivery objectives and timeframe. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage projects for the delivery of system changes and developments to financial systems including but not limited to Unit 4 Business World, WPM, and Parabilis in accordance with priorities set by the Project Lead. 2. Manage the work of workstream members engaged in any given project approximately 6 people and co-ordinate the workstream outputs up to 3. Develop solution designs after consultation with process owners and business users/stakeholders. This will involve meeting process owners, documenting system requirements and reporting findings to the Project Lead and project steering group or other body set up to manage development projects. 4. Identify, assess and manage project risks and issues. 5. Within the scope, objectives and framework set by a project board and within which the workstream operates the Workstream Leader will undertake an analysis of the scope and available resources and, after a consultative exercise with stakeholders, will propose the timing and priority of the different parts of any given development project. 6. Manage an iterative dialog and exchange between workstream members and stakeholders/ business processes owners in order to establish required functionality and confirm project scope 7. Manage the change and transition process to develop and embed new best practice processes, including the introduction of standard operating procedures and processes across the Division and in schools and Professional Services. 8. Plan the work of the workstream in accordance with the project plan handed down by the Project lead and approved by the project steering group 9. Manage the build, test and delivery of system developments and create training materials and manage and deliver training to users 10. Develop data structures and create data specifications for all relevant system interfaces involving a close and effective working relationship with the Project Lead and IT services Department. 11. Co-ordinate and manage data cleansing and data loading 12. Document all aspects of development work including but not limited to scope, design, configuration, testing, data specification, interface requirement 13. Plan and manage the transition from pre-development to post-development systems in consultation with the Project Lead and in the context of the wider systems developments plan/strategy. 14. Create guidance and procedural documentation with process owners and put in place measures to ensure documentation is accessible and kept up to date 15. Develop appropriate reporting outputs for financial systems in accordance with reporting plan prepared by the Project Lead 16.
