David Stills, Vice President - Risk Management David Stills currently serves as Vice President of Risk Management, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. He is responsible for Walmart’s global risk management division, including global property insurance, global professional lines of insurance, global casualty and excess casualty insurance, management of Walmart’s captive insurance company, management of other global insurance lines and responsible for insurance claims impacting the globally-relevant policies. Additionally, Stills is responsible for management of the Walmart's wholly owned Third Party Administrator, Claims Management, Inc., which manages the Company's United States-based workers' compensation, general liability and auto liability claims. Since joining Wal-Mart in 2002, Stills has also served as Assistant General Counsel, Tort Litigation Section, where he had responsibility for management of the Company’s United States-based general liability litigation. Prior to his employment at Wal-Mart, Stills was a partner at the national law firm of Kutak Rock. Prior to that, he served as General Counsel for the Arkansas State Police. Stills also has a number of years of experience as a trial lawyer. Stills is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a BSBA in Accounting. In addition, he received his Law Degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law and he is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
