This academic plan assumes that you have completed all of the following courses at your previous college/university:
Calculus I—for Science and Engineering (Math. 20A), Calculus II—for Science and Engineering (Math. 20B), Calculus and Analytic Geometry (Math. 20C), Differential Equations (Math. 20D), Linear Algebra (Math.
20F), Complete calculus-based physics series with lab experience (Physics 2A, B, BL, C and CL), Chemistry 6A/B. If you have not completed all the courses listed above, this plan is not suitable for you. We
advise that you come and speak to an academic advisor as soon as possible to plan accordingly.
MAE 8 is a required course for all MAE students and has replaced MAE 9 in the curriculum. Starting Fall 2013, all students, including transfer students, will be required to take MAE 8 or an approved equivalent.
COURSES MARKED WITH AN ASTERISK ARE PREREQUISITES TO COURSES IN THE IMMEDIATELY SUCCEEDING OR CONCURRENT QUARTER.
