DRUG FREE COLLIER PRESENTS: The Proliferation of “Pill Mills” and Pain Clinics and How to Keep
Them Out of Collier County
NAPLES, Florida--Over 2,500 youth between 12 and 17 become addicted to prescription drugs every day in the
United States. On Wednesday, November 10, at 3:30pm, Drug Free Collier invites parents, students, business
owners, and anyone concerned about keeping illegal “pill mills” and pain clinics out of the community to attend
an informative discussion as we dive into a close-up look at this growing and dangerous problem. Are our kids in
danger? Should Collier County be concerned about pill mills invading our tropical paradise? The meeting will be
held at the MLK School Administration Building, Room 1-105 (5775 Osceola Trail, Naples 34109). Attendees are

This meeting coincides with National Drug Facts Week, which is observed from November 8th through November
12th. National Drug Facts Week celebrates the efforts of national and community organizations working with
teens and adults to encourage a factual conversation about drugs and drug abuse. Drug Free Collier’s
