Newsletter ● We'd Love Your Feedback CPCC Withdrawal Policy To receive a “W” grade, a student must withdraw before the first 35 percent of the class. Talk with your instructor or check your syllabus to confirm the official withdrawal date for your class. *Financial aid recipients may be responsible for repayment of their financial aid award if they decide not to attend CPCC, and must officially withdraw from the College and classes. Bookstore Hours at North Campus The CPCC Bookstores are pleased to announce that the CPCC North Campus bookstore will have regular weekly hours starting February 1! North Campus continues to see significant growth and the CPCC bookstores are expanding the products and services we offer to better meet this need. The bookstore will continue to open for any new or CCE classes not covered by the this schedule. North Campus bookstore hours starting February 1 are: ● 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday ● 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday Transfer Talk with UNC Charlotte at Levine Campus Are you interested in transferring to UNC Charlotte? Representatives from Admissions, Advising, Career Services, and current UNCC students will be at Levine Campus to talk with you on Wednesday, February 17, from 12:30-1:30 in the auditorium . During this one hour session, you can learn about the transfer admission requirements at UNC Charlotte and ask current UNCC students about life as a 49’er. Do You Need Financial Aid for Summer Classes? If you complete more than 24 hours toward your degree in an academic year, you could be eligible to receive a Pell Grant in the summer! How do I know if I am eligible? ● ● Complete the 2010-11 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible! You must complete more than 24 credit hours in the academic year. For example if you complete 9 credit hours in the fall and 9 credit hours in the spring, you will need to complete at least 7 credit hours in the summer!
