About Sri Samavedam Shanmukha Sarma garu
Brahmasri Samavedam Shanmukha Sarma Garu is a living legend of Sanatana
Dharma and is a household name in the state of AP in particular and Telugus any where
in the world in general. His discourses in Electronic media like TV on Sivananda Lahari,
Lalita Sahsranamam, Sivatatvam, Ramayanam, Aditya Hridayam, Bhagvadgita, etc. are
very popular.
Starting his career with a stint in the largest circulated Telugu weekly Swati, Sri Sarma
Garu penned lyrics for many hit films. But he could not stay for long in the
film industry and quit the most glamorous and high paying profession to promote and to
propagate our Sanatana Dharma.
Sri Sarma Garu has penned more than 1000 devotional lyrics on Lord Shiva

Shri Sarma has also scripted Kuchipudi Dance Ballet „Gangavataranam‟ and
“Sambhavami Yugey Yugey” and eminent Dancers Smt Satyapriya Ramana and Smt.
Shobha Naidu have choreographed these ballets and staged them.
To educate and inculcate the noble values and virtues of our rich and ancient
culture Sri Sarma Garu has started monthly magazine “RUSHIPEETHAM” and is very
popular with spiritual seekers.
Born in the family of Vedic scholars, Sri Sarma Garu has chosen the career of
propagating our great culture, civilization, and values that we have cherished over the
centuries. His interpretation of our ancient scriptures and scientific explanation /
clarification makes the audience spell-bound and many devotees travel long distances and
