No name on the original Marriage cert. for George's father.....in fact the certificate tells me no more than the parish register, other than Nathaniel is a labourer and from Benwick.
GEORGE and Jane BARNES appeared in the census in 1851 in Honey Hill, Chatteris, Cambs.6 The address was: Honey Hill, Chatteris, Cambs. 1851 census.......George is

Servants/Agricultural labourers....indoors.
This George Butler could be brother to Elizabeth Sarah Butler who marries George's grandson George. I have put him down as being born in September 1866 but this is his
baptism date in could have been born earlier?! or the census may be wrong or both. GEORGE appeared in the census in 1881 in 17 High Road, Coldham, Cambs. The

but by subtracting the age of John green (9mths) from the 1861 census he must have been alive for John to have been concieved (if in wedlock) which means he must have
been alive during the summer in1859, so the John Greens' death which is most lightly is 1860 O-N-D, vol 3b p 353. Yes....the address is right, Delph. JOHN was buried on 26

Whittlesey too. George and Jane's children appear to have left home. ALICE died in Whittlesey. There is an Alice Green aged 48yrs who died in Whittlesey 1880. This figure
would make Alice born in 1832 which is alittle before the time I have....however this could be a match.
