Off Campus Access
A UNIX prompt to the CECS servers and
workstations is available, which can be accessed with SSH.
A SSH/SCP client can be downloaded from:
http://www.csun.edu/itr/downloads/
index.html
SCP (Secure File Transfer Client) access is
also available for students to download and
upload files from their Z Drive/ UNIX home
directory.

Wireless
Wireless internet services are
available to all CSUN students
while on campus.
To connect to he campus wireless
network, simply connect to the
network named “eduroam.” You
will be prompted to login.
EduRoam grants you access to the
internet without having to log in
everytime.
The “csun” wireless network is not
secure and should only be used
when you’re not able to connect to
connect to eduroam.
