All students must have knowledge of programming (fluency) in at least one general purpose programming language, i.e. Java, C, C++ or C#. 1 Admission is department specific and non-transferrable between programs 2 Length of study dependent on student performance, typically 2 year’s duration (PMP plus remainder of Master’s program) 3 Cumulative GPA of 3.0 based on all courses taken while in the PMP program at UMass Dartmouth, at most one grade below B- and no grade of C- or below. 4 Courses are dependent on student background and undergraduate degree results 5 Some programs allow the use of a limited number of UG technical electives towards MS requirement. 6 The number of credit hours required after PMP depends on the degree option and number of transferrable courses taken during PMP. No grade below a B may be transferred into the Master’s program. 7 MS in Mechanical Engineering requires 30-33 credits for Master’s Degree
