Annual Bloomin’ Festival
Cullman, Alabama

The Annual Bloomin' Festival is a two day juried arts festival attracting
thousands of visitors to the beautiful campus of St. Bernard Abbey and
Prep School. This trip includes a visit to the world famous Ave Maria
Grotto. The picturesque landscape of stone cut buildings on the
grounds of Alabama's only Abbey provides a backdrop for the out-ofdoors show. More than 140 booths are filled with artists demonstrating
and exhibiting their work.
We will depart the Center for Lifelong Learning at 9:00am for the
event. Fee includes transportation, entry tickets to festival and grotto.
Lunch is on your own.

Basic Blacksmith, $79
Instructor: Travis Fleming
and Al Stephens
Our instructors will guide you
through the basic blacksmithing
techniques of forging metal using
tools to hammer, bend, and cut.
Students will learn basic safety,
fire instruction, tapering, bending,
twisting, spreading, rolling, holepunching, and riveting. At the end
of class, students will take home
a 4-hook rack. No experience is
required. All tools and equipment
are provided.

This project will provide you with
the skills and tools you will need
for more advanced projects. In
this class, Travis Fleming and Al

steps to make grilling tools or a
utensil rack. All tools and equipment are provided. It is best if the
student has taken Basic Blacksmithing but not required.

Paul's life, as well as his letters
and ministry. This study will

historical context and biblical
message contained in the letters.
