PURPOSE OF JOB This position is responsible for the effective design of change management and organizational design solutions that align with and support key processes and overall business strategy. The Organizational Effectiveness Advisor will work alongside business design architects and HR business partners on both line of business and enterpriselevel organizational change initiatives. JOB DUTIES Consults with the business to define organizational design approaches and core practices across the enterprise. Devises and implements plans to build a stronger organizational design capability across the HR function. Partners with the business to frame complex, and often unique, problems by identifying performance gaps in people, process, and technology in partnership with Process Engineering and IT Architecture. Develops and manages change plans for largescale transformation efforts, including addressing organizational cultural implications. Facilitates and aids the business to align structure, process, rewards, metrics and talent with strategy. Drives implementation plans for organization designs. Defines measures of success and effectively monitors effectiveness of designs. Maintains current knowledge of advances in Organizational Design and Change Management methodologies and applies leadingedge methods and practices to improve enterprise organizational effectiveness. Researches and shares internal and external best practices. Drives integration of organizational design processes and practices with other key HR products, services and processes, such as Compensation, Development and Staffing. Provides informal mentorship to more junior advisors on the team. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of organizational effectiveness experience. 8+ years of organization design consulting or change management experience working in a Fortune 500 company and / or major consulting firm. 8+ years experience using industry-standard consulting methodologies to diagnose organizational issues with internal clients and implement creative, value added solutions. Deep understanding of and practical experience in principles, methods and tools in the following disciplines: Organizational effectiveness, change leadership, organizational design & systems design, cultural integration, and high performance teams. Ability to translate strategy into specific goals, action plans and deliverables. Preferred Master's in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or related MBA. Demonstrated experience in managing enterprisewide programs and/or processes for a large organization (10,000+ employees) with a record of successful results. Experience in cultural integration, as a part of a merger or acquisition.
