We are currently seeking talented Physical Security Procedures Specialist for
our San Antonio, TX facility.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Leads the development and sustainment of the physical security operational and
training procedures. Subject Matter Expert in the procedures development
process with the technical writing skills required to independently develop and
disseminate new procedures. Communication of new procedures to stakeholders.
Assists Training Coordinator with developing and delivering new training material.
JOB DUTIES








Responsible for ensuring Policies and Procedures are current and
relevant.
Provides review of Physical Security Policies and Procedures.
Maintains the SOI SharePoint site that is the repository for Physical
Security Procedures.
Creates the Security Plan for new USAA offices.
Serves as a liaison between Physical Security and enterprise
stakeholders in the development of construction projects that require
physical security support.
Maintains Learning Management System (LMS) training modules for
security orientation/training to USAA employees in distributed work
facilities and bank security training in accordance with Bank Protection
Act.
Assists in all Physical Security training development and implementation
to include CPR/First Aid Defensive Tactics, Baton Training, Use of Force
training, and other required courses.
Performs all other tasks as assigned to include maintaining skill level and
proficiency of physical security roles and responsibilities by occasionally
performing physical security services for USAA (less than 10% of time).


Relation to Other Positions.
This position is an individual contributor role and will reports directly to
the Director Distributed Offices and Support. This position also maintains
cross-functional, collaborative relationships and responsibilities with
partners in the USAA Bank, Wealth Management, and Corporate
Services.
Minimum Requirements


Five years operational experience in security force or law enforcement.
Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience in a related field.
Preferred




Minimum of three years accumulated employment experience as an
armed security officer or law enforcement with a licensed employer, and
have at least one year of experience in a managerial or supervisory
position.
Experience with instruction presentations in a classroom environment.
Experience with security instruction/orientation to diverse professional
workforce or equivalent groups.
Experience and proficiency in writing procedures related to physical
security operations.
