PIXAR : AN AMAZING RECOVERY!
Below is a case study of a horse that has been
treated with our green ILLITE clay.
THIS IS THE STORY OF PIXAR AND HIS
OWNER TIFFANY : AN AMAZING RECOVERY .
As we know , life with horses brings us so much
joy. Being prey animals, horses can also do very
unpredictable things and accidents happen
unfortunately. Pixar is a 2 year old horse at the time of the accident, very well cared for and loved.
Someone had accidentally left the fence gate
open and Pixar, naturally figured he would
check out the grass on the other side of that
fence as it usually looks greener ! When he tried
to go through, he got stuck on the pin that shuts
it, panicked and got impaled on the fence gate.
" He had 400+ stitches / staples. One of the worst injury
my vet had yet to see.

His body unfortunately rejected most of
the stitches and I was left frightened
about his future. It was full of infection
and very scary to look at ...
.. That is when a friend told me about
your clay... “ says Tiffany.

Naturally, Tiffany was a bit hesitant at
first about applying dirt on her horse.
She worked for 4 years at a vet’s office
and never heard of it.
After doing some research and seeing
my other articles about other horses
injuries, she decided to go on with the
clay treatment.
Flies are never a concern, when clay is the chosen
form of treatment.

With unconditional love for Pixar and an extreme dedication to heal her horse, Tiffany embarked on a journey
she will never forget. She applied clay, rinsed with water and re-applied clay.. EVERY DAY ! She could see progress very quickly and how clay would take a special interest attracting and removing infection as well as
cleaning this gigantic wound. She would fill and pack the whole with clay regularly. Pixar was a great patient.
She also would find out soon, how
clay will participate actively in
tissues reconstruction.

Can he jump ? Yes , that’s him after recovery ..
It took Pixar and Tiffany a great deal of trust in between each other to accomplish this together.
Even after 2 months and showing great results , Tiffany kept applying clay as she wanted the best for him and
insure hair growth etc.. She kept applying until the end. It took about 6 months total .
She is truly amazed by this recovery of course but even more : “ What amazes me is that he doesn’t have any
issues. He is very athletic again, as he was before, even with a muscle tare. He is an amazing horse and I am so
grateful he is still in this world “
When I asked Tiffany : “ what would you like to tell people that don’t know clay ? “ , she replied ..
“ It worked so well on him that to this day I always keep it on hand. I use it on all kinds of wounds and sores.

on the East Coast. As a Junior Rider Tiffany competed in 4H and Pony Club. She
was highly competitive on the “A” Circuit having received instruction from many
respected trainers including Jeff Ayers, Raymond Francis, Andrea Hart, Kris Moyer,
Fernando Cardenas, Harold Chopping as well as renowned Hunter trainer George
