I am presently working as nanny for 2 children ages 3 years old and 1 year old. I am tending to each child’s physical needs. I prepare and serve nutritious meal to children. I give their milk formula and vitamins on time. I make sure that I have their feeding bottle sterilized so to avoid any infection. I give them bath and keep the children clean all the time.
Setting behavioral guidelines and providing disciplinary action when appropriate. I also organize inside and outside play activities for the children, whenever the weather is nice, I bring the children in the park or playground to get some fresh air and sunlight which is good for their body. I also provide social and intellectual stimulation. I have them engaged for some outdoor activities with other children. I was a child care provider for 2 children who were only 4 and 6 years old when I started looking after them. The eldest has diabetes. I am waking up early to check his blood sugar and if the result is below minimum I immediately give him a sugar or any drinks with that contains 10-15 grams of sugar and if it’s above minimum or the result is over 200 I injected him insulin. After checking on him I start to prepare food for their breakfast and feeding his younger brother a medicine as well since he is also suffering from heart problem, He has a hole in his heart. I see to it that both children are well taken care of and ensures that they have their medication on time as prescribed by their doctors.
