NEELAM HUSSAIN
Neelam is an outstanding student with a passion and flair
that has developed throughout her progression from Level 1
to Level 3 study. She has displayed the ability to overcome
any difficulties that have been presented by her hearing
impairment and has never let it affect her eagerness to be
efficient, a fact that is reflected in her 100% attendance
and punctuality record. She has a very positive, professional
attitude and has never shown a lack of confidence, even in
the face of adversity.
Recently, Neelam selflessly agreed to be interviewed on her
experiences and feelings about the course, so that her tutors
could understand how best to support other deaf students
through their college careers.
Neelam is considered to be an exemplary student who is
an inspiration to her peers, for which she was awarded the
2013 Rising Stars Young Achiever Award for Beauty Therapy
& Hairdressing.
“I have been supported really well throughout my time
at Bradford College. I have thoroughly enjoyed the
experience.”
