They have a strong sector-related emphasis on practical skills development as well as the development of management skills. A Higher National Certificate is offered on a part-time basis. The Hair and Beauty industry has proved to be recessionproof and always requires appropriately trained, highly qualified staff. Course Structure The programme, offered over four semesters, is made up of an interesting mix of Hair and Beauty Modules. To achieve the qualification you need to achieve 240 credits which include Core and Specialist Units. Core Units include: Health & Safety, Salon Management and Physiology of Ageing.
