This is a project-specific unpaid summer internship where the amount of academic credits a student receives is predetermined by their school. Qualifications • • • • Must be currently enrolled at a college or university in forensic or science program and have completed their junior year of study. Students from FEPAC accredited forensic programs will take precedence. Must have 12 college credits in chemistry, have maintained a GPA of 3.0 and be in good standing with their academic institution. Must be available to participate in the 2016 Internship program for approximately 8 weeks throughout the summer. Must successfully pass background check, credit check and interview process. All interviews will be conducted in Harrisburg. • Candidates selected for the internship will be notified upon successful completion of background checks, no later than April 8, 2016. Project Description: • A review of laboratory casework will be conducted to determine if hair comparisons were performed.
