TORCH RELAY ANNOUNCEMENT
On Wednesday, October 1, the TORONTO 2015
Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015)
will be announcing details about the TORONTO 2015
torch relay for the Pan Am Games.
The torch relay is one of the most exciting events leading up to
the Games. It’s a moment that all Canadians can be proud of,
and an opportunity to bring people and communities together
— a chance to inspire, engage and unite us all.
Please join in this milestone celebration — along with torch relay
partners, special guests and notable athletes — as the first
wave of celebration communities participating in the torch relay
is announced, and help kick off the TORONTO 2015
torchbearer contest.
Following the announcement will be five days of torch relay
activations — athlete and PACHI appearances, and a daily
TORONTO 2015 merchandise giveaway — that will continue at
the Eaton Centre during mall hours, until Sunday, October 5.
