contractual and administrative issues encountered in numerous forms of landscape architecture
practice. Furthermore this course will clarify the procedures for licensure in landscape architecture.
Academic Integrity:
This course will be conducted in accordance with the UGA University Honor Code and Academic
Honesty Policy. All academic work must meet the standards contained in “A Culture of Honesty.”
Each student is responsible for becoming knowledgeable about these standards before performing
any academic work. Students should feel encouraged to learn and study together, however quizzes
and exams are to reveal the level of accomplishment of the individual student.
Examinations:
There will be three (3) exams throughout the semester as noted in the syllabus. Each exam will be
cumulative and will be worth 20% of your class grade.
Quizzes:
There will be at a minimum five (5) unannounced in–class assignments throughout the semester.
These unannounced in–class assignments will make up 20% of your class grade. In the event that
more than five (5) in-class assignments are given, the lowest scores may be dropped at the
discretion of the Instructor. Please note that there will not be makeups for missed assignments. If
you are scheduled for a sanctioned field trip and I am notified by your instructor a minimum of one
