Note:
 Three Black Horses in this Tournament
1.Billy: In the game from 16 to 8, Billy defeated uncle Beijing Men, last
Silver Medalist, by 2:1. Amazing, Each wave in Long River is pushing
forward, the following wave is higher and stronger than the previous one.
Billy dumped uncle Beijing on to the beach 
2. Pastor Wendy is talent and good at playing pingpang and entered the
4th place after defeat many strong players.
3. Professor Hongyu Meng kept the winning streak from the small group
up to the championship.
 Register Player: Men 48, women 22, total of 70
 Participants: Men 34, Women 15, total of 49
II:Match Stories
 Samamish players Liwei Peng and his father in law were drawing
in one group.
 Chao Liu begged Younong Xu for 5 handicaps. Shame on you,
Charlie! Are you going to do it again 
 Seed player, Elizabeth, forgot the match. Her cell phone was on
silent, did get the phone remind and was eliminated. What a pity!
 Sammamish player, Liping Wang, was too nervous about the
game and her calf muscle was fighting hard on strike. Upon
negotiation, the calf muscle agreed to enter the matches
 Staphanie entered group 4th place without playing even one game.
All her competitors was scared to play with her
 Xiaoxia Tan was hurried to finish one game due to a family guest.
Though she lost the chances of final matches, we thank her for her
positive attitude and participation.
 Seed player, Miaohua Zhang, was so excited about the tournament
and about the Saturday church lunch that she couldn’t sleep until
5:00am. Maiohua was very successfully eliminated the first round

 He li with the front rubber paddle was defeated 9:11 by the
champion Jinkai Yu in third game of second play off. He almost
dumped uncle Yu on the sand beach
 Lulu was defeated two 9:11 by the Silver Medal holder, Amy Lin,
due to the high heel shoe. She was too shy to go without shoes.
She might have a winning chance with proper shoes. This is all
Pastor Hao’s fault. Pastor Hao, would you please buy her a pair of
nice Ping-pong shoes for the nest tournament
 Though brother Ren’s lower back was on strike, he still played
hard and won the six place in this 40 player tournament.
Admirations
 Pastor Hao’s pre-game practice had made a great deal of
improvement. He was fully prepared for the game but still shied
over his two sons in performance. At Kevin and Billy can pad
Pastor Hao’s head to comfort the pastor
 On the registration book, there’s an item, “Do you want to name
yourself from a bible verses?” Like “Love each other”, “Faith”,
“Peace” “Fire of Hope” ”Hope of the tree at the river”……

and XiaoJiao Li, Wenhui Huang and yinghua Tang, Miaohua

Billy/Kevin, Liweipeng and Zhanxin Wang(in-law)
III:Gratitude
 Thanks God for the brothers and sisters communications through
ping-pong matches and the successful completion of the game!
 Thanks for the participations of brothers and sisters! Special
thanks go to Mother Sheng, 82 years old and Gege, 12 years old
and brothers and sisters from Sammamish, visiting scholors,
friends and Younong Xu from Evangelical Chinese Church!
 Special thanks to Jian Zhang, Ken, Joe, Will, Hong Li, Miaohua
Zhang, Lucy, Priscilla, Beijing Men, Uncle Zhang, Yi Yang,
Zhifeng Wang, Liwei Peng, Pastor Hao and Pastor Wendy for
their
organization,
planning,
purchasing
the
souvenirs,
transportation, food supplies and preparation, cleaning, grouping
the players, preparing the forms, referees, photography and
prayers. Thanks again from the bottom of our heart!

IV:Notes

