Lab planning: Paymen Sabati will be interviewed in early January
which completes round 1 of 3 of researcher interviews. MAA to
prepare a list of researchers for tracking progress on this item. MAA
to host a gaming session with PM group to finalize location
assignments. These assignments will then be shared with the
researchers for comment. MAA will issue Room Data Sheets on
13.12.23.

Class C cost estimate review: Class C estimate cost for QMI
Addition: $16,416,332. UBC PT directs team to adjust the design to
meet the $15,100,000 the construction budget. UBC PT will provide
the project budget breakdown to the team.

FFE: UBC PT clarified that FFE will be costed by a specialty
consultant. UCM will coordinate the installation of the FFE (lab fit out)
and related services.

Chemical storage in labs: The users have been asked to provide a
list of chemicals and their volumes expected to be stored in the labs
on an annual basis. This will be required for building code and a gas
dispersion analysis. Doug Bonn and Warren Poole will collect the
information and issue to PAC.

Project Manager: Nick Maile will be taking the project management
role over from Craig Knight.

Acid collection program: Existing AMPEL acid neutralizing tanks are
currently in future magnetic facility. IG to coordinate a meeting with
UBC risk management, UBC Plumbing Inspector and MAA to
determine if tanks can be removed. It was also noted that EDC power
feed also runs through future magnetic facility. MAA to confirm with
Josh Volk if this is acceptable.

Renovation Scope in AMPEL: The design team requested
clarification of the AMPEL scope not listed in the program. It was
agreed that the scope for the following rooms will be as noted:
