How to connect to adminfiles.arts.ubc.ca Note: If you are at home, you must connect to myVPN by going to http://myvpn.ubc.ca Windows: 1. Launch Computer and click Map network drive on the top menu bar.
2. Type \\adminfiles.arts.ubc.ca\ followed by the name of the requested folder. For example, \\adminfiles.arts.ubc.ca\poli. Check the box Connect using different credentials and Reconnect at logon. Click Finish. 3. Your username is EAD\yourcwlusername, password is your CWL password. You may choose to check the box Remember my credentials. Click OK when done. Mac: 1. Open Finder. Click Go on the top menu bar, click connect to Server… 2. Type smb://adminfiles.arts.ubc.ca/ followed by the name of the requested folder. For example, smb://adminfiles.arts.ubc.ca/politicalscience. Click the + symbol to add it to favorite. Click Connect. 3. Your username is EAD\yourcwlusername, password is your CWL password. You may choose to check the box Remember this password in my keychain. Click Connect when done.
