created the MemoryLifter Stick.
The MemoryLifter stick is the most useful and innovative element of the
Multimedia Learning Suite. It contains a stick-bound version of the
MemoryLifter software that lets you learn, track and store your learning
progress wherever you go. The advantage is clear:
You can learn at any personal computer without
installing a program on the hard drive - just plug
and go, at home, at work, at the library… wherever
you are. You don’t even need access to the internet.
MemoryLifter saves your learning progress to the
stick, so you don’t have to start over and over again.
► The Learning Modules
The learning suite contains three multimedia Learning Modules (Numbers,
Date and Time; Chinese Radicals; Chinese Thematic Vocabulary), which all
together feature more than 3,000 flashcards! The learning modules include,
audio files recorded by native speakers, calligraphies, and pinyin. Learning
modules can easily be extended with the addition of your own flashcards as
your vocabulary expands, or you can edit the existing cards.
Chinese and English audio files make
it possible to learn in the Listening
Comprehension mode.
Additional graphics give a better
impression of the characters.
The pinyin, a standard romanization
system, enables you to practice your
pronounciation in connection with the
audio files.

► The Learning Modes
Besides the Standard Mode, where the user has to actively type in the correct
answer, MemoryLifter offers several different learning modes that can be
customized to fit your personal learning preferences and study goals. For
example, if you want to practice understanding spoken Chinese, the Listening
Comprehension Mode would be the right choice for you, or if you want to
choose the correct answer from multiple answer choices, select Multiple
Choice Mode.

your learning progress, and various
statistics provide you with detailed
feedback to enhance and optimize your
learning.
► The Study Guide
The complementary study guide
contains important information about
language rules and helpful advice on
how to use the Learning Modules most
effectively.
► Print Your Flashcards
For those who prefer the “classic” paper flashcards learning, MemoryLifter
allows you to print out cards with the clever print wizard, that enables you to
select a very targeted set of cards to be printed. For example, you can print all
cards from a certain chapter, or you can print all cards which were answered
incorrectly, etc.
