What Makes
Cherry Blossom Learning Center Special?
At Cherry Blossom we strive to create a unique
learning environment. Our center is family-owned
and operated by parents of twin toddlers and we
understand the value of a quality-learning center.
We offer the ideal combination of a nurturing atmosphere, well-rounded curriculum and a family
feel. From our infant and toddler rooms to preschool, our continuity of care creates a smooth
transition for your child. Our all-inclusive
approach to early childhood education features
phonics, language development, science,
computers, and physical education. Many
activities such as yoga, Kidokinetics (a specialized
exercise program), music, ballet, the arts and
languages such as French and Mandarin are
included at no extra charge.
Preparation for Kindergarten
Cherry Blossom is a learning center, not a
daycare or babysitting facility. To maximize each
child’s potential we strive to educate, and enhance
the development of children, not only academically but socially, emotional and physically as
well.
Our Educators
Classes are led by Certified Teachers with a low
student/ teacher ratio. Our warm and caring staff
have educational credentials in the most current
Early Literacy strategies and techniques.
Curriculum
CBLC offers a traditional curriculum to provide
children with the necessary foundation to begin
Kindergarten. In addition, CBLC uses the Creative
Curriculum as a method for teaching developing
emergent literacy skills, including oral communication, knowledge of’ print and letters, phonemic
and phonological awareness, vocabulary and comprehension development.
Each classroom features eight learning centers
where the children work cooperatively in small
groups to reach developmental milestones and
school readiness through exploring, experimenting, and repetition.
What is Our Mission?
OUR MISSION is to improve the lives of the
diverse children and families in our community by
delivering high quality educational child care in a
