OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAM
Engineering Analysis involves the application of scientific analytic principles and processes to reveal the properties and
state-of-the-system, device or mechanism under study. Professionals in this occupation are responsible for carrying out
engineering analysis problems like stress calculations, static and dynamic analysis, thermal analysis, fluid flow analysis,
crash simulation, multi-body dynamics, noise and vibration, etc. Engineers in this group perform analysis using
standard analysis procedures, finite element codes or commercial packages.
The objective of this program is to introduce the faculties to the advancements & requirements in the area of design
simulation/engineering analysis and to give a comprehensive knowledge about the engineering simulation tool ANSYS
and its capabilities, to teach the students and to do research.
ANSYS develops, markets and supports engineering simulation software used to foresee how product designs will
behave and how manufacturing processes will operate in real-world environments. We continually advance simulation
solutions by, first, developing or acquiring the very best technology; then integrating it into a unified and customizable
simulation platform that allows engineers to efficiently perform complex simulations involving the interaction of
multiple physics; and, finally, providing system services to manage simulation processes and data.
ABOUT LPU

Ganesha HN,
Chief Technology Officer, Innovent Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
A mechanical engineer with very good exposure and hands-on design, analysis (stress,
vibration, and lifing), construction, testing, hand calculations of Gas Turbine engines for civil
and defense applications.He has also contributed towards many critical defect investigations
and has led many NPI(New Product Introductions) for defense and civil applications, at HAL
and QuEST Rolls-Royce. He has contributed significantly towards capability development on
advanced topics relevant to Gas turbine namely F& DT, Composites, advanced solid
mechanics, bolted and welded joints and on special skill development like Lateral and critical
thinking for engineers. He holds National level certificate, UK for Holistic Gas Turbine Design.
He has bagged best Trainer award for 2009 with QuEST-Rolls-Royce. He is currently authoring
a book called Young Designer's Manual. His courses on lateral and engineering critical
thinking have been highly sought after both with corporate and academia. He has also
authored a book called “Engineering Critical Thinking “ for young practicing engineers and
well received both in industry and academia.He is also a visiting faculty to VTU post graduate
centre for research for continuum mechanics. Currently authoring a comprehensive book on
product development.
Avinash S,
Director, Innovent Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
A dynamic young engineer has climbed the rungs of the hierarchy with his overwhelming
wisdom of both technology and management. He is instrumental fundamentally in
establishing structural and CivilFEM departments. He has contributed in developing several
modules for technology and management excellence. He also has huge training experience
which includes training the top corporate like GE, InfoTech and others. He has guided several
UG and PG projects. Currently co-authoring a comprehensive book on product development
with CTO.

Pankaj Kulkarni, Engineer-Structures, Innovent Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
A B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from RTU, he has been associated with Innovent
Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for the last 3 years as an Engineer in Structures Dept. He has
experience of working on Ansys MAPDL & Workbench products in the field of Static &
Dynamic analysis for various clients. He is also an authorized trainer on ANSYS Structural
products. He has delivered training to customers like GE, Cummins, Continental etc. & Top
Engineering instituitions like IIT's & NIT's with high customer satisfaction index.
Ashish Mittal,
Engineer-Fluids, Innovent Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
An Aeronautical Engineer, completed M. tech in Fluids Engineering from NIT Allahabad. He is
also an associate member of Aeronautical society of India. He has wide experience in CFD
applications in ANSYS. He has trained several corporate including GE, Mann & Hummel, Moog
Inc, ERDA, CSMCRI, etc. He has also trained academia including premium institutes like NITs,
IITs etc. He has guided several M.Tech & B.Tech projects in fluid flow and heat transfer
analysis. He has delivered many live research projects with a very high customer satisfaction
index (CSI). He is currently the Engineer with Fluids-wing of INNOVENT.
