Introduction
The Blue Ocean Strategy® provides a powerful, visual and practical set of
frameworks and tools, designed to not only effectively build the collective
wisdom of the company, but also to effectively execute through easy communication. It is also worth mentioning that Blue Ocean Strategy® covers both strategy formulation and strategy execution.
Objectives
In particular, the participant will be able to:

dramatically raise customer utility while achieving lower costs for the

with the proprietary Blue Ocean Strategy® formulation process and
methodologies.

Learn how to “wake up” their organizations to the need for pursuing new
profitable growth.

Explore the family of Blue Ocean Strategy® / Value Innovation tools and
methodologies – including Strategy Canvas, Buyer Utility Map, Six Paths
Framework – providing insights into how to unlock the possibility of
creating new markets.

Speaker’s Profile
Dr. Dominic Lau is a Professor in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and heading the EDGE program. Prior joining UTM, Dr. Dominic Lau is a certified Blue
Ocean Strategy practitioner and formerly the Director of Applied Research
Centre of Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre in UCSI University. He has
successfully completed the Blue Ocean Strategy qualification process administered by the Blue Ocean Strategy-Initiative Centre. Dr. Dominic Lau is also the
founder of leading consulting firm in Malaysia named SQC Consulting Group
since June 1995 and currently acting as a Technical Advisor.

Terms and Conditions
1.
The programme fee quoted is for short course package for between 20 to 30 participants
based on per person basis. The programme requires a minimum of 20 participants and a
maximum of 30 participants per batch to run.
2.
The organiser has the right to make any amendments that they deem to be in the best
interest of the course.
4.
A 50% refund of the deposit will be made for written cancellation made 30 days prior to the
programme commencement date. No refunds will be made thereafter. A substitute may be
