Who are we?
Set up in November 1999,
SECIMEP members include importers and manufacturers,
Representing over 160 brands of packaging and process equipment in
the food,
Industry, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and industrial sectors.
Our mission

Our main activities
The professional organization represents its members in contacts with the
Authorities to uphold their interests.
Trade shows
• Meet organizers to indicate the requirements specific to the profession.
• Bring members together in a common space.
• Joint organization of certain services.
• The influence brought to bear by the SECIMEP is a guarantee of being heard.
Specific sector sub-groups
• To enable the analysis of factors specific to certain professional segments such
as associative weighers, marking and pharmacy, printing, food and non-food.
Market statistics and trends
• Statistical database.
• Barometer.
• Production of statistics by profession at the level of the French market for the
SECIMEP with the federations affiliated to the FICIME, in a context defined by
a charter.

SECIMEP MEMBER OF FICIME
Created as a Union in 1909, the FICIME (Federation of International
companies in the mechanical and electronics sectors) is a trade organization
gathering more than 230 companies, representing all the international players
on the French market of the mechanical and electronics consumer and capital
goods.
The FICIME advises members of its affiliated unions on the following matters:
custom, legal, mechanical, labour law, environment, statistics, sustainable
development Issues, and regulatory monitoring.
The FICIME is increasingly active in lobbying on behalf of its members and
achieves many positive results.
