Lecturer Position
The Department of Statistics at the University of Georgia invites applications for a position as
Lecturer, to begin on August 11, 2016. The rank of Lecturer requires a Ph.D. degree in
statistics, or a closely related field. The person in this position is expected to teach a wide range
of courses, including large introductory courses, advanced undergraduate courses, and lower
level graduate courses, spanning a wide range of topics. Scholarly credentials must reflect a
strong commitment to teaching. Like all faculty members, the person hired is expected to be
engaged in the activities of the department.
